Application & Performance
Suitable for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, built-in cabinetry. Red Oak and Maple provide impact resistance for high-traffic areas. Walnut and Cherry offer dimensional stability in fluctuating humidity. Alder accepts paint well for painted applications. Rift cut minimizes expansion/contraction. Sapele resists rot in humid environments. All species require acclimation 7-14 days prior to install. Professional finishing recommended to seal against moisture.
