Porcelain body construction. Slate surface texture emulation. Square 8x8 inch (nominal 203x203mm) format. Matte surface finish reduces glare. Through-body color consistency typical of porcelain. Density exceeds 2.0 g/cm³. Water absorption <0.5%. Frost resistant. Rectified edges for tight joint installation.
Application & Performance
Suitable for interior floor applications including bathrooms and kitchens. Porcelain composition provides impact and abrasion resistance (PEI rating 3-4 typical for residential traffic). Low water absorption enables use in wet areas with proper installation. Matte finish provides slip resistance (DCOF ≥0.42 dry). Not rated for exterior freeze-thaw cycles without sealant. Resists staining from common household chemicals.
