Breaking strength exceeds 40 lbf. Slip resistance DCOF ≥0.42 wet. Mohs hardness 6-7. Thermal expansion coefficient 6.5x10^-6 /°C. Fired at 1200-1250°C. Chemical resistance per ANSI A137.1.
Application & Performance
Porcelain terrazzo construction resists moisture absorption below 0.5%, suitable for interior walls and moderate-traffic floors. Polished finish provides DCOF ≥0.42 for level residential floors. Rated for bathroom walls and kitchen backsplashes. Not recommended for exterior freeze-thaw or heavy commercial traffic without anti-slip treatment. Four color variants available for consistent field application.
