DALTILE DELEGATE MATTE 12X24
Porcelain tile 12x24 matte finish cement appearance
Selected Color: OFF WHITE MATTE
Technical Specifications
Construction: Porcelain body with matte surface finish. Rectified edges for minimal grout joint spacing. Cement aesthetic achieved through pigmentation in the porcelain body, providing consistent appearance through the tile cross-section.
Material Composition: Vitreous porcelain with mineral pigments. Non-porous body (water absorption <0.5%) provides superior durability and freeze-thaw resistance.
Finish: Matte surface reduces gloss and light reflection. Provides slip resistance suitable for floor applications.
Application & Performance
Floor Applications: 12x24 format and porcelain body suitable for residential and light commercial floor use. Matte finish provides slip resistance (DCOF rating appropriate for interior floors). Rectified edges allow tight grout joints (1/16-inch minimum).
Wall Applications: Large format tile reduces grout lines and visual complexity. Lightweight porcelain body minimizes substrate load. Matte finish masks water spotting and dust.
Outdoor Applications: Porcelain body resists freeze-thaw cycling and moisture absorption. Suitable for covered outdoor areas and patios in moderate climates.
Bathroom/Kitchen: Non-porous surface resists staining and bacterial growth. Suitable for wet areas including kitchen backsplash and bathroom walls. Not recommended for shower floor applications without anti-slip treatment.
Limitations: Matte finish may show dust and footprints more readily than glazed finishes. Grout maintenance required in high-traffic areas.
