Technical Specifications
Denali series features solid hardwood construction in 8 species: Alder, Cherry, Red Oak, Rift White Oak, Maple, Walnut, Sapele, and Painted grade. Species sourced from North American hardwoods with Janka hardness ratings from 590 (Alder) to 1010 (Red Oak). Grain patterns range from straight (Maple) to pronounced cathedral (Cherry, Walnut). Quarter-sawn Rift White Oak minimizes flake figure. Sapele provides ribbon-stripe mahogany appearance. Painted finish available for primed surfaces. Typical thickness 3/4-inch for face frames and panels. Moisture content kiln-dried to 6-8%.
Application & Performance
Suitable for kitchen cabinet face frames, bathroom vanities, built-in millwork, and interior trim. Red Oak and Maple resist denting in moderate traffic areas (Janka 1010+). Walnut and Cherry accept oil or polyurethane finishes for wear resistance. Rift White Oak stable in fluctuating humidity environments. Alder accepts paint without grain telegraphing. Limitations: Not rated for exterior exposure or standing water. Requires acclimation 7-14 days prior to installation. Professional finishing recommended for food-contact surfaces.
