Technical Specifications
Construction: Natural marble mosaic in herringbone pattern layout. Individual tile dimensions 11" x 11.75" with interlocking herringbone arrangement. Material composition: 100% natural Calacatta marble with natural veining and color variation inherent to stone.
Finish: Polished natural stone surface. No coating applied; finish is inherent to marble processing. Grout lines required between tiles for installation.
Edge Treatment: Pressed edge typical for natural stone mosaic applications.
Application & Performance
Primary Applications: Bathroom wall applications, kitchen backsplash installations. Suitable for interior wall surfaces in moisture-controlled environments.
Performance Characteristics: Natural marble is calcium carbonate-based and susceptible to acidic substances. Requires sealing in wet environments to prevent moisture penetration and staining. Herringbone pattern creates visual interest while maintaining structural integrity of mosaic sheet.
Limitations: Natural stone contains inherent variation in color and veining. Not recommended for floor applications due to slip potential and wear patterns. Requires professional sealing and maintenance. Acidic cleaners will damage surface; neutral pH cleaners required.
