Porcelain body with slate texture. Through-body color consistency. Matte surface finish reduces glare. Dimensions: 6x24 inches (nominal). Thickness: 8mm standard for porcelain floor tile. Water absorption: <0.5% per ASTM C373. Breaking strength exceeds 40 lbf per ASTM C648. PEI abrasion rating 4 for moderate residential and light commercial traffic. Frost resistance per ASTM C1026. Rectified edges for tight grout joints.
Application & Performance
Suitable for interior floor installations in residential and light commercial settings. Low water absorption enables use in wet areas with proper installation. PEI 4 rating supports foot traffic up to 500 psi. Matte finish provides slip resistance with DCOF >0.42 per ANSI A326.3. Not recommended for exterior freeze-thaw exposure without sealing. Compatible with thinset mortar over cement backer board or concrete slabs.
