MANNINGTON MILLS INC INSIGHT PLUS HICKORY (GLASS BACK) 6FT
Rigid core vinyl plank with glass-back construction and hickory grain
Selected Color: 6698GB HICKORY BITTERNUT
Technical Specifications
Construction: Rigid core luxury vinyl plank (LVP) with glass-back backing system. The glass-back technology provides dimensional stability and prevents expansion/contraction issues common in standard vinyl planks.
Core Material: Stone-polymer composite (SPC) rigid core with waterproof properties. Eliminates moisture absorption and prevents delamination in high-moisture environments.
Finish: Hickory Bitternut wood-grain pattern (6698GB colorway). UV-resistant protective coating.
Dimensions: 6-foot length plank format, suitable for standard residential and light commercial installations.
Waterproofing: 100% waterproof core construction. No swelling or warping when exposed to moisture.
Application & Performance
Best suited for: Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and other moisture-prone areas where standard vinyl would fail.
Performance advantages:
- Glass-back technology eliminates hollow-back defects and provides superior underfoot stability
- Rigid SPC core resists impact and maintains structural integrity under heavy traffic
- Waterproof construction prevents mold and mildew in high-moisture environments
- No acclimation required before installation
- Suitable for on-grade, above-grade, and below-grade installations
Limitations: Requires proper subfloor preparation and underlayment in some applications. Not suitable for outdoor use.
