Technical Specifications
Construction: 5-inch engineered plank with solid maple face veneer. Plywood core construction provides dimensional stability and resistance to cupping and warping in variable humidity environments. Country grade finish with natural color variation and character marks typical of American Traditional Classics line. Solid maple face allows for sanding and refinishing cycles.
Material Composition: Top layer solid North American maple, cross-laminated plywood substrate. Finish: Matte or satin (standard for Country grade). Tongue-and-groove edge profile for secure installation.
Application & Performance
Suitable for interior residential flooring in living spaces, bedrooms, and kitchens. Engineered construction minimizes expansion and contraction, reducing gapping and cupping in climate-controlled environments. Plywood core provides structural rigidity for floating or glue-down installation over concrete subfloors where solid hardwood is not recommended.
Country grade includes natural knots, mineral streaks, and color variation—typical characteristics, not defects. Solid maple face allows refinishing after 10-15 years of wear.
