Technical Specifications
Engineered stone slab composed of approximately 93% natural quartz aggregate bound with polymer resin. Surface is non-porous due to manufacturing process involving vibration and vacuum compaction under high pressure. Hardness rated at Mohs scale 7. Thickness typically 2cm or 3cm. Polished finish on select variants provides reflective surface. Density approximately 2.5 g/cm³. Flexural strength exceeds 50 MPa.
Application & Performance
Suitable for horizontal countertops and vertical backsplashes due to high impact resistance and stain resistance from non-porous structure. Withstands temperatures up to 150°C without thermal shock. Low water absorption under 0.02% prevents bacterial growth. Not recommended for exterior applications due to UV degradation of resin over time. Flexural strength supports load-bearing in kitchen and bath countertops.
