Technical Specifications
Marmoleum construction uses oxidized linseed oil as primary binder. Top layer: 2.0-2.5mm linoleum with natural mineral fillers and pigments. Backing: woven jute burlap. Total thickness: 2.5mm nominal. Sheet width: 6ft 7in (79 inches). Manufactured via linseed oil oxidation process on calender rolls. Pigments: mineral-based, colorfast. Surface: factory sealed with oxidized linseed oil oxidation layer.
Application & Performance
Suitable for interior floor applications over level subfloors. Jute backing requires dry adhesive install. Linseed oil composition provides inherent bacteriostatic properties; inhibits bacterial growth on surface. Rated for commercial and residential traffic. Performs in normal temperature/humidity environments. Avoids moisture submersion. Upper layer resists indentations from rubber wheel traffic. Color retention through mineral pigmentation.
