Marmoleum construction uses oxidized linseed oil binders with rosins, wood flour, and limestone fillers on jute backing. Top layer thickness 2.0-2.5mm. Total construction 2.5mm nominal. Rolls measure 79 inches (6ft 7in) wide. Factory finished with polyurethane topcoat. Color locked through material composition. Static electrical resistance meets EN 1815 standards. Thermal resistance R-value 0.89 m²K/W.
Application & Performance
Suitable for interior floor applications in residential, commercial, and institutional settings. Antimicrobial properties from linseed oil inhibit bacterial growth on surface. Low VOC emissions comply with CDPH 01350 standard. Impact sound reduction 14dB. Chair castor resistance per EN 425 standards. Not recommended for exterior or constantly wet areas without sealant. Jute backing requires level subfloor and adhesive installation.
