Technical Specifications
Natural marble mosaic composed of Bianco Carrara stone. Tiles cut to 2x2 inch hexagon shape. Surface finished with honing process for low light reflectance and matte texture. Sheets assembled with mesh backing for installation support. Material sourced from Carrara quarries, calcite composition typical of white marble.
Application & Performance
Suitable for interior wall applications including kitchen backsplashes and shower surrounds. Honed surface provides slip resistance compared to polished marble. Not rated for heavy floor traffic; use floor-rated marble for such areas. Requires waterproofing membrane in wet areas due to natural stone porosity. Thinset mortar installation over cement backer board.
