Technical Specifications
Crema Marfil Select is natural marble. Surface finish: honed for low light reflectance and matte texture. Dimensions: 2 inches high by 12 inches long. Cut from quarried stone blocks, calibrated for uniform thickness. Density typical of marble at 2.7 g/cm³. Water absorption 0.1-0.5% by volume. Compressive strength exceeds 100 MPa. Sold in each units for custom cuts.
Application & Performance
Chair rail installed horizontally on walls at chair-back height to protect paint from impacts. Honed surface reduces glare in low-light interiors. Marble composition provides density for sound dampening. Suitable for interior dry areas; avoid prolonged water exposure due to natural stone porosity. Bonds with thinset mortar to drywall or plaster substrates. Thermal expansion coefficient 0.006 mm/m°C minimizes cracking in stable environments.
