UNITED TILE COMPANY CROSSVILLE OWEN STONE BUNNY 24X24 FIELD LEATHERED
24x24 porcelain slate tile with leathered finish
Selected Color: BUNNY
Technical Specifications
Construction: Porcelain body with slate aesthetic. Leathered surface finish reduces gloss and provides texture.
Material Composition: Porcelain tile manufactured to mimic natural slate appearance. Denser than ceramic, lower water absorption.
Finish: Leathered—textured matte surface treatment. Reduces slip potential compared to polished finishes. Hides footprints and dust better than glossy surfaces.
Format: Large format 24x24 inch tile. Minimizes grout lines in floor installations. Reduces visual fragmentation in open spaces.
Application & Performance
Floor Applications: Grade suitable for residential and light commercial floor use. Leathered finish provides slip resistance in dry conditions. Porcelain composition resists staining and moisture penetration better than ceramic or natural slate.
Wall Applications: Can be used on interior walls. Weight requires proper substrate and installation support.
Not Recommended: Shower or wet-area applications without proper slope and drainage—leathered texture can trap water in high-moisture zones. Kitchen backsplash acceptable in areas with minimal splash exposure.
Maintenance: Leathered finish requires periodic sealing to maintain stain resistance. Grout lines require standard maintenance. Large format reduces grout-line cleaning burden versus smaller tiles.
