Honed dolomite hexagon mosaic tile, 8-inch
Natural dolomite stone tile. Cut into 8-inch hexagon shapes forming mosaic pattern. Surface finished with honing process for matte texture. Low water absorption characteristic of dolomite. Density typical for sedimentary limestone at 2.7 g/cm³. Compressive strength exceeds 100 MPa. Thermal expansion coefficient 0.006 mm/m°C.
Suitable for interior floor and wall applications. Honed finish provides slip resistance with coefficient of friction above 0.6 dry. Dolomite composition resists acid etching better than marble. Not recommended for exterior freeze-thaw exposure without sealing. Requires waterproofing membrane in wet areas. Grout joints 1/16-inch minimum to accommodate movement.
