Application & Performance

Floor Applications: Suitable for interior floor installations in moderate-traffic areas. Honed finish provides slip resistance compared to polished marble. Natural stone requires sealing to prevent staining and moisture penetration.

Wall Applications: Excellent for wall installations including feature walls and backsplashes. Mosaic format creates visual interest and breaks up large wall surfaces.

Moisture Considerations: Marble is porous and absorbs moisture. Requires professional-grade sealer application and maintenance in wet environments such as bathrooms and showers. Not recommended for direct shower walls without adequate sealing and ventilation.

Maintenance: Honed marble requires regular sealing (annually or as needed). Acidic cleaners will etch the surface; alkaline or pH-neutral cleaners required. Natural variation in marble veining and color occurs between tiles.
